The big 3 auto makers offer a discount. You MUST ask for them, they do not just come out and tell you that you may qualify for one. For example – Jeep – They offer a $500.00 cash allowance.

Credit Unions always have cheaper apr’s for most people.
But they don’t always let you have one, unless you can prove your credit is good. (and they like 750 or better) you can try refinancing the car, but don’t be surprised if the interest isn’t lower…you haven’t been in the military yet…
